Determining your skin tone and choosing your shade

Mineral Makeup is very forgiving, so an exact match is not necessary like with traditional makeup. A good start is to determine your skin tone.

Lay your arm on a piece of plain white paper while standing in natural light (near a window or outside), and you should be able to see a distinct undertone (do not stand in direct sunlight):

 --If you distinctly see pink (you don't see any yellow), you have pink (cool) undertones.

 --If you distinctly see yellow (you don't see any pink), you have yellow (warm) undertones.

 --If you can't decide because you see both pink and yellow, or you don't really see anything, most likely you are a neutral. We also have neutral shades with slight undertones.

 --If you have Olive skin or are African-American, we have shades for you, too.
